Limit Field Vies in Sesquicentenniai Purse at Ascot Park This Afternoon Bull Skin, Scrub, Love Lock And Tetratomic Meet Over Seven Furlongs Distance By RONALD KRANCER Staff Correspondent ASCOT PARK, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, May 22. — The ,000 Sesquicentenniai Purse at seven furlongs headlines the well-balanced nine -race card to be presented here tomorrow. One of the largest crowds in the history of the course is expected to be on hand. The field will line-up as follows: Twin Oaks Stables Tubulcain, A. W. Messer-smiths Scrub, T. O. Logsdons Evenesta, Cremona Farms Sea Weather, Mrs. Jimmy McCumbers Mor-Snoozey, J. Johnsons Bull Skin, Leo Eichlers Cockpit, Marie Trussos Oh Linda, Wilmer C. Ensors Love Lock, Mrs. Virginia McKenneys Tetratomic, and on the "also elibigle" list are Shep-pard «Sc Mazzas Country Editor, J. Bach-rachs Rehearser, Frabbatto and McCul-loughs Bold Arrow, S. Stengers Rapid Robert, and Battlebuz, owned by Anna and Julian De la Fe. Bull Skin, a three-year-old colt by The Doge, won here 10 days ago with plenty to spare when he defeated Tetratomic by four lengths going four and one -half furlongs. In that race Bull Skin drew clear a furlong out and was a handy winner. Before shipping into Ohio, Bull Skin had been at Keeneland where he won a race and was ► ___ placed in his two other starts. His winning race there was by two lengths over Wildcat Sam and his time for the six furlongs was 1 : 12, only a second and three-fifths off the track standard. Scrub will go postward with a host of backers and should be a strong second choice to Bull Skin. He has started four times thus far at the meeting and had been a winner twice. His last race was on Saturday, when under a heavy impost of 125 pounds, he wound up fourth, beaten some nine lengths by Even Better at a mile and one-sixteenth. A combination of a muddy track and giving away chunks of weight proved a little too much for the Challador gelding. However, improvement is likely in this event. Love Lock, to be ridden by Robert Gordon, can usually be counted on for a good race. She also finished in back of Even Better last Saturday, but it was her first race over the track this spring and she should fare much better tomorrow. Tetratomic appears to be rounding into good form and is a tough horse when hes at his best. In his only start here he was closing fairly well behind Bull Skin, going over the Ascot course. Cockpit, Evenesta, Mor-Snoozey, Sea Weather, Oh Linda, Country Editor and Bold Arrow all have had good races over the local track, but appear up against it in here. Tubulcain and Battlebuz will be making their first starts of the meeting and Rapid Robert has shown nothing since arriving at this point from Gulfstream Park.
