Stewards Rulings * ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, 111., Jane 27. — Apprentice J. Ralph Adams was subjected to the first suspension of his career here today when the Arlington Park stewards suspended the young rider for 10 racing days for permitting his mount to drift out in the stretch in the first race of June 26. The date of his suspension covers June 39 to July 10, inclusive. AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., June 27. — The stewards issued the following rulings: "For conduct detrimental to the best interest of racing, owner-trainer Joe G. Kuykendall, is suspended for the. balance of the meeting and denied access to the grounds, and his case is referred to the Nebraska State Racing Commission with the recommendation that his license be revoked. "For conduct detrimental to the best interest of racing, exercise boy Donald Gene Von Hemel is suspended for the balance of this meeting and his case referred to the Nebraska State Racing -Commission, with the recommendation that his license be revoked." BLUE BONNETS, Montreal, Quebec, June 27. — The stewards issued the following ruling: "Jockey C. Gonzalez is hereby suspended for the balance of the Kings Park meeting for an unsatisfactory ride on Zacaplay in the third race, June 26, 1953." MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 27. — The stewards this afternoon issued the following ruling: "For failing to keep a straight course throughout the stretch run of the seventh race on June 26, thereby causing interference, and for making a frivolous claim of foul, jockey Louis R. Torres is suspended for 10 racing days. His suspension runs from June 29 through July 9, inclusive." DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 27. — In regards to the ruling made earlier in the week on trainer Wiinam %Jt. j ones, me ueiaware jrarx stewards today extended the suspension to run for the remainder of the meeting and 20 additional days, through Friday, July 24. The suspension was for unbecoming conduct and for being insolent to the stewards. During the period of the suspension, Jones will be denied the privileges of the stable area.
