VAN CROSBY soon sprinted to the front and, racing under slight restraint while setting the pace, drew away when ready in the stretch and was never in danger of being headed. BLAZE was never too far removed and staged a fairly good run through the stretch, but did not appear to be a match for the winner. BERSEEM improved his place under urging in the stretch and was going well at the end. AMATI had speed to the last eighth, then weakened. RED SPEED also had some early speed. DEAN CAVY was off well enough, but soon dropped back and failed to better his standing when urged, running considerably below his best form. Scratched— 81275 Power Plant, 110.
