Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. NOVIA improved position gradually to overtake the leader Inside the final furlong and was all out to earn a dead-heat with FIVE STAR. The latter closed with good energy from far back, drifted out, but was along to gain even terms with the leader. BRIGHT KITCHEN slipped through along the inside to engage the leader and faltered. MISS FLUSHING disposed of EVE after a quarter mile, drew out, but flattened out when put to a drive. EAST MOON was best of the others. EVE was not persevered with when beaten. The others were outrun. LAMAR rallied along the inside through the stretch, but was unable to menace. GATICA-LINDA broke alertly, dropped off the pace, rallied mildly when roused, but was no threat. SAVE ME passed tiring horses. BARSTOW lacked early speed. SUM JINX raced close to the pace for three furlongs and weakened. PETERS BEST quit The others were outrun. HAPPY TUNE broke sluggishly, was steered outside on the far turn, came inside for the drive but lacked a rally. BOLD REQUEST showed nothing. CONTRARY JEAN showed speed for a quarter mile.
