LIBBYS FIRST forged to the front immediately after the start, held sway to the stretch under steady rating and, though drifting out during the late stages, retained a safe advantage over FRIPPERTY. The latter came out to the middle of the track for the drive and, under stern pressure, was unable to seriously endanger the. winner. SINGING GIRL failed to respond when called upon her best effort. TOURLANX saved ground to no avail. SONORA BELL, fractious at the post, showed speed for a half mile, then weakened. PLATTERPUSS was outrun. ADVENTURESS was unable to attain the lead and tired. GRAND FIND, a sharp factor from the beginning, raced evenly through the final furlong without apparent mishap. STURDY SISTER tired when punished. KING GAVIN caught tiring horses. RICO HOMBRE raced within striking distance of the leaders while oh the outside, took command with a rush when ready and steadily drew out winning as if much the best. BLACK SAINT displayed good speed to the stretch, but was no match for the winner when the real test came. LARKS FLIGHT slipped through next to the inner rail to take command on the final turn, but faltered when challenged. LOVELY EADIE was unable to improve her position through the final furlong. FREE STRIDE, away in the first flight, forged to the front nearing the furlong marker and, in a long drive, held DIGNITARY safe. The latter went to the front , immediately after the start, gave way to the winner entering the stretch, then held on willingly in a sharp effort. INDICATIVE displayed good speed throughout, but was unable to overtake the leaders when hard hustled through the late stages. RETRACT, a sharp factor from the beginning, tired slightly when the real test came. DANGER QUEST had no apparent mishap. GAY QUILLO began sluggishly. COMMAND ME failed to stay. LORD WILLIN was in fairly close quarters after breaking to the inside at the start and was unable to endanger the leaders thereafter. DUCKHUNTER and BISHBASH were outrun.
