Lloyd Gentry to Have-32 Head at ThistleDown Public Stable Will Be Largest In Quarters for 42-Day Session THISTLEDOWN, Warrensville, Ohio, May 27. — The public stable trained by Ken-tuckian, Lloyd Gentry, appears to be the strongest as well as the most numerous band of thoroughbreds checked in to date at ThistleDown for the 42-day meeting which opens next Tuesday. Gentry has 32 horses in training at the suburban Cleveland course and the greater part of them are two- and three-year-olds. Included in the band of horses that Gentry is conditioning are runners who will carry the silks of the following outfits into action at ThistleDown: Arthur B. Hancocks Caliborne Farm, John A.vBell HIs Jonabel Farm, the estate of the late Samuel Riddle, Clifford Mooers, John Ward, Terrill Brothers, and Milt Shagrin. Gentry is expected to have a strong band ready for the running for the two ThistleDown two-year-old stakes, the second runnings of the Susan on June 19 and the second running of the Ohio Endurance on July 3. Also including in his string are the older horses. Big Money and Shag Tails. Both runners are regarded as strong candidates for the ,000 week-end handicaps scheduled and for the 5,000 ThistleDown Handicap on July 19.
