Won driving; second and third the same. _NINA PAL, a factor from the start, was taken up sharply while lacking room along the inside on the turn, then drove through to wear down PROWL. The latter attained a slight lead in the early stretch and just missed. LUXURY TAX closed ground steadily in a good effort. KAM-PEI became a threat on the turn and lacked a closing rally. BAYTOWN raced with the pace to the stretch and faltered. GEE was hard pressed for the lead and gave way. WEE MAJOR was through early. KNIGHT ALERT showed nothing. SAILORS CHOICE was outrun.
