Dogoon Breezes Easy Three-Eighths in :36% Drake Homebred Is Prepping for Livonia Stakes at Detroit Course By DON FAIR Staff Correspondent DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., May 31. — Dogoon, E. Gay Drakes homebred three-year-old colt, visited the last track here his morning and breezed an easy three-eighths of a mile in :36%. The son of The Doge and Swoon, who met defeat by Mrs. A. M. Creechs Styrunner at Churchill Downs in his initial 1955 outing, makes a splendid physical appearance at • present. The Drake stable star probably will make his next start in the ,500 Livonia Stakes here Saturday, June 18. Dogoon is no stranger to Motor City racing followers. During his juvenile campaign he won the Lads and Lassies Stakes and the Governors Stakes at the local course.
