Edwards, Winters, Fairmount Officers, Return to W. Va. FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, 111., May 31.— Two officers of the Fairmount Park Jockey Club returned to their homes in West Virginia following the Memorial Day program. James F. Edwards, president of the association, who was accompanied by his wife, flew to their home in Huntington, while A. R. "Snooks" Winters, treasurer, drove to Waterford Park to serve as state steward for the West Virginia Rac-* ing Commission. Winters_has been here since long before the opening of this meeting, while the Edwards arrived last Thursday. Burma Girl, owned by Edwards, scored a clean-cut victory in the eighth race Memorial Day.
