SEA 0 ERIN went to the front early, and setting the pace under restraint, withstood minor bids from STREAKING and then SCENT without being fully extended, then widened on the other? when given free rein in the last eighth and was an easy winner. TWO FISTED was well up from the start, and improving his position in the stretch, outfinished SCENT. The latter was always close to the pace and responded to urging, but was clearly not good enough. TUOSIX raced evenly in a creditable effort. STREAKING had his early speed but bore out in the stretch. SPARTAN JETT raced fairly well. KING was never a threat. VAGABOND KING tired. SPUR ON was in rather tight quarters early, but failed to display much when clear. SMOKE SCREEN was off slowly and was badly outrun. DEB CHASER tired badly. NEW SJREAM went,td the front at once and drew out after leaving the backstretch, but had to be hard ridden nearing-lhe end to hold CHEROKEE PILOT. The latter dropped back slightly nearing the stretch turn, but came very fast near the finish and was gaining rapidly. ARETE moved up entering the stretch, but weakened in the final sixteenth. PERNIE LEE was going steadily at the finish. GORGEOUS MISS. was unable to get to the front and tired badly in the last furlong. COMPASS BOX was never dangerous. MORSE FLASH went to the front early to set a good pace and saved ground. LADY ELECT raced evenly, but Just lasted to save third place. RIVAS SON finished fairly well.
