Howton Accepts Packer Terms GREEN BAY, Wis., May 31 UP.— Billy Howton, one of the National Football leagues top pass receivers, has signed with the Green "Bay Packers for 1955, it was announced today. The star end was signed by the Packers in 1952 after making a name for himself at Rice Institute. He gained 1,231 yards that season* to earn the NFL lead. Due to an injury, in 1953, he missed part of the season, but still led the team in pass receptions and repeated in 1954.
