Five Starters, Five Winners For Young Sire Johns Joy LEXINGTON, Ky., May 31.— Derby John made it five winners from five starters for the young Bull Dog stallion Johns Joy, who stands here at Stoner Creek Stud, when he scored in his second trip postward at Balmoral last Friday. His victory was over a heavy track adding further evidence that track conditions mean little to the Johns Joys. They also have won on fast and muddy tracks. With five winners to his credit," Johns Joy now ranks among 1955s leading sires of two-year-old winners. These five have come from his first crop of 18 foals. Johns Joy, himself, was a brilliant two-year-old, winning his first start in the two-furlong Duncan F. Kenner Stakes and his last start of the season in the one-mile Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes. He retired to stud at the end of his five-year-old season with total earnings of 92,613. He stands in the ownership of Kinard and Kenney. , I
