NORMAS-FIRST racedup well after entering the stretch and, forging to a good lead an eighth out, had enough left to hold ALL SHE WROTE. The latter was close up from the start and went gamely to the end to be gaining. EASY ROMAN boiled to the middle of the track while in strong contention after entering the last eighth. His rader claimed foul against ALL SHE WROTE-but the claim was not allowed. KINGS MEN dashed to the front on the outside in the first eighth, but weakened in the last furlong. FLAG FOX was outrun for a half mile, then moved up nearing the stretch turn and, coming strongly next to the rail in the stretch, got through on the inside of SPIRIAM to win drawing out. The latter was slow to get in stride, then dashed to the front after going a ouarter and held on fairly well. NORA SHORE was fairly well up throughout and was easily best of the others. OLYMPIC trailed to the last eighth, tut was going well at the end. JAY JAY GEE held on with good courage to the final fifty yards where she -began to falter.
