Nashua Breezes Mile In 1:41 at Aqueduct Not Asked for Speed at Any Time; High Voltage Goes Six Furlongs AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 2.— Jim Fitzsimmons unlimbered both of his big guns here at the Queens County Jockey Club course this morning, Belair Studs Nashua and Wheatley Stables High Voltage breezing for the first time since their brilliant scores in last Saturdays Preak-ness and Coaching Club American Oaks,, respectively. Nashua was not asked for any speed as he stepped a mile in 1:41, with fractions of- :37, :50, 1:02%, 1:14% and seven furlongs in 1:27%, but it was an impressive move under any circumstances. The veteran trainer said that "the big son of Nasrullah had literally screamed for his supper after his record-breaking triumph in the Preakness, an indication that that apparently gruelling contest had actually been play for Nashua. His next engagement is in the classic 00,000 Belmont Stakes at a mile and a half on June 11. High Voltage was under a hard hold all the way as she went six furlongs in 1:15%. Her next engagement is expected to be the 5,000 Delaware Oaks at a mile and a furlong on June 18.
