— ADVT. Useful Platers Go to Sale BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., June 2. — Formosa and Fling are two useful claiming racers that will go to auction here next Wednesday morning, June 8, in the Hal Price Headley consignment to the Fasig-Tipton Company. Formosa won two races in succession for ,000 and ,000 at the recent Keeneland meet and since then has finished fourth at Belmont. She is from a good female line. C. V. Whitney purchased her three-quarter sister, Voltage, at auction two years ago for 2,000 for breeding. Fling has finished third in his last two starts for ,000 at Garden State. He won last year at Arlington Park for ,500. Both Formosa and Fling are three-year-olds. Others in the Headley consignment include the stakes winner Revolt, the stakes-placed Pinetum, and Go Forward, a three-year-old that broke Helioscopes track record for a mile and seventy yards an his last start at Garden State.
