NEAL ELYSE got to the front-early, and drawing away from the field entering the stretch, won by a wide margin. FIGHTING WHIZ raced rather wide throughout, but was ;too good for ARIS SETUP. The latter moved up on the inside in the stretch, but faltered in the, final drive. PRINCITA was going well at the end. CHERIFUL bled after going a quarter and was pulled up. KENTUCKY KID followed RITAS -FLYER closely for .the first half mile, then edged to the front an eighth out and pulled away slowly under hard hand riding nearing the finish. RITAS FLYER had the most early speed and resisted stubbornly when challenged by .the winner, but was not good enough. JU.MP TUNE failed to threaten .the first two, but held third place all the way. GUARD RAIL, quick to begin, soon opened up a good lead, and racing as if much the best, increased her margin in the stretch, and was not fully extended at the finish. AMBER AWAY moved up after entering the stretch and was clearly best of the others. GAME 0- HEARTS had" early speed but was unable to keep up. JACALU saved ground in the stretch. TROJAN SPEAR had some early foot. The others were not prominent. Won easily; second and third driving. KING CHARLES was outrun for the first half-mile, as usual, then gained steadily and, coming to the inside in the stretch, found-an opening to come through and win easily. MARKET TIP was reserved early and responded fairly well when called upon, but weakened in the last sixteenth. PAR BOY raced LOU ADAMS into defeat, but seemed no match for the first two when it came to a drive. LOU ADAMS tired badly. PUSSY CAT was rated in front after having gained a fair advantage in the first quarter and had ample left with which to withstand the challenge of BABYS PAL at midstretch and draw out -again. TALL IRIS, never too far away, improved her position in the stretch. BABYS PAL moved up strongly on the outside of the leader at midstretch, but was unable to get to the front and weakened in the final drive. CHARA tired badly in the stretch. PROSECUTOR was always within striking distance of the leaders and, saving ground on the stretch turn, came strongly on the inside in the last sixteenth to take command and hold NICKIES BOY: The latter trailed for half the distance and came wide for the stretch run, but finished strongly and was gaining. ETERNAL FROLIC came fast on the extreme outside through the stretch. TORCH OF WAR was close enough early but failed to have the necessary finishing strength. WARLESS had something removed remaining in front of MON-PHARO in the early running and had little left. EDS DAY was badly outrun all the way. WILLIAM MORTON was badly outrun for six furlongs, then improved his position steadily and, forging to the front of IM FRED afterentering the last sixteenth, was hustled along to hold FLOATING CLOWN. The latter dropped far back of the pace in the early running and lost ground in the stretch, but finished fastest of all. IM FRED headed the field after entering the stretch, but clearly was not good enough for the first pair. JANES GAL made a flattering move in the middle of the track an eighth out, but failed to carry through. KILLIMOR and CLOUDY DAY were used up fighting for domination in the first mile. SANDY M. was required to ease when in close quarters rounding the far turn, but saved ground entering the stretch to find an opening on the inside, and taking command a sixteenth out, drew away thereafter. MISS J. went to the front early and withstanding several challenges from BOBTAIL WILLIE, held him to the finish. BOBTAIL WILLIE was close to MISS J. throughout and raced gamely to the finish.
