Carter-Zulueta Title Scrap Set for New Orleans in July NEW ORLEANS, La., June 2 UP.— Lightweight champion Jimmy Carter will defend his title against Orlando Zulueta of Cuba here in July, The Item reported today. The newspaper said the newly-formed Louisiana Boxing Enterprises, Inc., has completed plans for the championship match. The LBEI, according to the newspaper, guaranteed Carters manager, Willie Ketchum, 5,000 for the title defense with a 40 per cent privilege. The first fight staged by the new organization, which is dedicated to bringing big-time boxing back to New Orleans, was the lightweight clash between Ralph Dupas of New Orleans and Frankie Ryff of New York.
