MARACABO held a contending position while saving ground, was sent after the leaders leaving the far turn, came outside of MAXS REWARD entering the stretch and under continual pressure was along in time. MAXS REWARD easily raced into command before entering the stretch and. while continuing on willingly, could not handle the winner. LADY REDBIRD improved her position gradually, came outside for the stretch drive and was slowly getting to the top pair. PYONGYANG found his best stride too late after being badly outrun early. BOUQUET BILLY was slowly giving way after relinquishing command going down the backstretch. SOFT REWARD disposed of BOUQUET BILLY early but tired in the final three-sixteenths.. STEPHANIE M., unhurried early while saving ground, came between horses entering the stretch and, after assuming command at the sixteenth pole, was drawing out under pressure. RAMBLING STAR quickly set up a clear lead when BURNING DAMSEL tired and could not resist the winners challenge. PATSY DEAR moved strongly on the outside entering the stretch but could not carry the rally. LADY BANDIT loomed a threat entering the stretch while on the extreme outside, then raced evenly. ALAPAT could not keep up early but closed a good qap in the final stages. BURNING DAMSEL stopped to a walk. BLUNO REARED IN THE GATE INJURING HERSELF AND WAS ORDERED SCRATCHED BY THE STEWARDS. ALL MONEY WAGERED STRAIGHT, PLACE AND SHOW WAS REFUNDED WITH A CONSOLATION DOUBLE BEING PAID ON BLUNO. PAIR SWORDS gradually improved his position while facing on the outside, responded to strong handling after entering the stretch and was along in the final Strides. DANGER CUE held a commanding lead after leaving the far turn, settled into the stretch along the rail and just failed to last. TOP TAKE took a short lead immediately after the start but was giving way in the final stages. EASY I. Q. passed tiring horses for his placing. MAY WHIRL lacked early speed. NANCAROL had no mishap. DOMINAVE followed the pace while under light feslraint, was sent after the leader entering the stretch and in a long drive proved slightly best. EASTER HOUR alertly sprinted to the lead, widened her margin leaving the far turn and while holding on gamely through the stretch succumbed in the final yards. DARLIN ANN was forwardly placed throughout but could not reach the top pair. BILLS HYGRO was in tight quarters going to the far turn and while recovering gamely could not make up the necessary ground. PRINCE VILLON made up ground gradually along the inside. RIMSICKLE held a contending position early while on the outside, charged strongly entering the stretch and after relinquishing command in midstretch came on again to outfinish MR. GUNNER. The latter started to rally leaving the far turn, gained command between calls in the stretch and appeared to hang in the final yards. INFORMER, hemmed in along. the inside throughout while forwardly placed, could never find clear racing room until entering the stretch, then was not good enough. RETA RUN forced the early pace, then raced evenly in the final quarter mile. FIGHTING LOW stumbled coming out of the gate. KEEPING TIME stopped badly. Scratched— 792124 New Home, 107. NEW HOLLAND raced on the outside of TOMFOOLERY while holding a short advantage early, disposed of the latter entering the stretch, then was in hand at the wire and was better than the margin indicates. TOMFOOLERY kept pace with the winner until entering the stretch, then cut down some of the winners margin at the finish after the winner had opened up a clear advantage in midstretch. GREG closed some ground in the stretch run after being well placed early. BRASSY MISS failed to find her best stride until making the stretch run. ED F. broke slowly and trailed. FERRO followed the pace in hand, quickly disposed of RODMAN entering the stretch and responded to energetic handling to first h Md off AMYN BEY, then held ACEPOT safe in the final yards. ACEPOT, strongly restrained while saving ground early, swung outside the leader entering the stretch and while going willingly could not wear down the winner. AMYN BEY launched his drive midway of the backstretch, came between horses, then dropped to the inside of the leader entering the stretch, appeared ready to assume command but hung in the final stages.
