Political Figures at Derby CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 7. — Many prominent political figures attended the 82nd running of the Kentucky Derby. They included Gov. A. B. Chandler and Sen Earl Clements of Kentucky; Senator John Bricker of Ohio; Gov. George Craig, Lt. Gov. Harold Handley, Sen. William Jenner and Sen. Homer Cape-hart, all of Indiana; Sen. Patrick McNa-mara of Michigan; Sen. William Laird of West Virginia; John Sherman Cooper, Ambassador to India; and Marvin Moate, speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives.
