J., May 7. — Nashua has been assigned top-weight of 129 pounds for Saturdays renewal of the 5,000 added Valley Forge Handicap at Garden State Park, thus affording him an early opportunity to sur- pass Citations world-record earnings. of J ,085,760. In weighting the French-bred Le Beau Prince, Shea took into consideration the fact that the Garden State race is 150 yards shorter than the Grey Lag and may be the distance Tom Wallers charge would be at his best against such opposition. Of the 43 eligibles weighted for the Valley Forge Handicap, J. W. Rodgers Due de Fer at 116 pounds is highweight of the horses stabled on the grounds. The five-year-old son of Spy Song— Lady Waterloo has been here about a week and has only been trained at short spins. Calumet Farms Trentonian at 112 and Commodore M. at 110 must be considered among the local handicap group who will start in the Valley Forge. Others include C. L.
