DAT SAY, racing well up from the raii, made a good run on the outside around the far turn, and forging to the front of CHANCE ALARM in the last sixteenth, was going away from the latter at the end. CHANCE ALARM took command after going a half and held on fairly well. OALO was going strongly at the finish. ROYAL FLYER was not dangerous and passed tiring horses. CHINAPHILA set the pace for a half then dropped back. HIGH LAMA had some early foot but stopped badly after going a half mile. LUCKY SWEEP was outrun to the stretch, then came fast in the middle of the track to be to catch TOUCH OF OR in the final strides. TOUCH OF OR raced wide on the backstretch while moving up and took a short lead at midstretch, then tired rather badly in the last fifty yards. CARE TAKER made a good move to get to the front nearing the stretch turn only to weaken in the last sixteenth. LADY ALORTER passed tiring horses. CONSUS set the pace and was dropping back when he fell after leaving the backstretch, and CAROL S. fell over him. ALL FOR CIRO took a short lead soon after the start and, saving ground in the stretch, held on well to repel GONA GO. The latter was never far away arid, culling to the inside of HY-FIELD at midstretch, was hard hustled coming to the end and just? failed to get up. HY-FIELD raced wide most of the way. MARGARET J. was under rather stout restraint for the first half mile, then moved steadily and coming to the inside of MY GLAD -HAND and DONNYS TASK in the stretch, forged to the front to win going away. MY GLAD HAND set the early pace and, although going very wide on the stretch turn, withstood a bid from DONNYS TASK and only gave way in the last thirty yards. JEAN HAC was badly outrun for a half mile but finished fast. OLYMPIC ROSE went evenly. DONNYS TASK got through on the inside on the stretch turn to take a short lead between calls but stopped badly in the last furlong. STROLLER, closest to GET FOR HOME from the start made a move Hearing the far turn but was repulsed, then continued well to get to the front in the last furlong, but was doing his best to hold LEGAL TIME. The latter was. under restraint early but continued, strongly on the inside through the stretch and was pressing. TIN TWIST raced wide in the stretch but closed steadily. FANCY GET made a move rearing the stretch turn but went very wide on the* turn and was unable to resist the winner. LAYDOWN finished steadily. LONELY WINTER made up some ground in the last quarter. JUMP TUNE tired badly after going six furlongs. BLUE DAGGER was under rather stout restraint in the first six furlongs but came very fast on the outside after leaving the backstretch and although required to go almost to the outside fence on the turn forged to the front at midstretch o win going away. BOLD X. was rated early and was a good contender when set down. MARYANA closed with good courage. LIEUTENANT lost much ground in beqin in the middle of the track all the way.
