Lover Boy Allotted 120 For Breeders Handicap HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 30. Mr. and Mrs. Travis M. Kerrs Lover Boy, who won the same race a year ago, is the top weight for Saturdays renewal of the 5,000-added Golden State Breeders Handicap, a run of a mile and one-sixteenth for three-year-olds and older horses bred in this state. The son of Reading H. has been assigned 120 pounds and - under that weight he will be conceding from one to 15 pounds to 11 potential opponents. . In winning the Golden State last year Lover Boy defeated Honeys Alibi and New Trend. He has made two appearances this meeting and was winner of his- last engagement. He accounted for an overnight handicap at a mile and one-sixteenth in which he got up in time to score by a neck over Spinney, star last winter of the 00,-000 Santa Anita Maturity. In his first start of the meeting Lover Boy was fourth behind Pay Section, Born Rich and Adams Apple.
