MOON DANCER, unhurried when outrun early, rallied after a half mile and, coming to the outside quickly, assumed command in the midstretch and drew off quickly under light urging. HASTY GIRL came from between horses leaving the far turn to move into close contention rallied in front of the winner in the stretch, but could not keep up in the last sixteenth. BEWITCHING dropped back along the inside on the final turn and then was along to outfinish the others. OSCAR J opened up a commanding lead in the backstretch and tired badly in the last eighth. DEVILS VERSE raced slightly wide from the start, bolted out into the stretch, losing all chance. Overweight Moon Dancer, 3 pounds; Bewitching, 2; Devils Verse, 1.
