Tissot Wins Twelfth Purse Special to Daily Racing Form ROME, Italy, May 30 Reuters. Tissot, four-year-old from the Razza "Dormello Olgiata Stable which campaigned the wonder horse, Ribot, today won the 3,800 Grand Prix of President of Italian Republic over 12 furlongs here to score his twelfth win in 18 starts. Tissot, a son of Tenerani, out of Tiepoletta, is engaged in the Ascot Gold Cup on June 29. It is rumored recently in Italian racing: circles that an unnamed British owner had made a bid for him. Donna Lidia Tesio, Tissots owner, said earlier this week that she had received many offers for him, but he had not been sold. Tissot, an even money favorite today, was ridden by Enrico Camici and won by three lengths from Hymnode, with Talismano a length farther away in third place in the field of six.
