MAROONED moved with good courage after entering the stretch and while not threatening the winner, was best of the rest. PICAFRIEND was required to go a trifle wide in the stretch but finished with good courage. CHECKERED FLAG and LADY SWORDS finished fairly well after having been outrun early.
