Nominations Close on Saturday For Five Monmouth Stakes OCEANPORT, N. J., May 30. Edward J Brennan, general manager of Monmouth Park, reminded horsemen today that nominations for five stakes and the supplementary .closing of the New Jersey Futurity close on midnight Saturday, June 1. The five early closing stakes are as follows: the six-furlong 5,000 Oceanport Handicap to -be run June 11; the six-furlong 0,000 Select Handicap, June 15; the 5,000 Salvator Mile, June 19; the six-furlong Regret Handicap, June 22, and the mile and a .sixteenth Long Branch Handicap, June 26. The Select is.for three-year-olds and the Regret is for fillies and mares, three-year-olds and up. The others are for three-year-olds and up. The 5,000 New Jersey Futurity, restricted to juveniles foaled in New Jersey, is at five and a half furlongs and will be run on July 24. It is the richest homebred stake offered in New Jersey.
