Under Eddie Arcaro, the Nasrullah colt scored by two lengths and earned 1 - a net purse of 5,250. Iron Liege, from the Calumet Farm, his conqueror in the Kentucky Derby, was second, followed by D and M Stables Inside Tract, who was beaten a neck for the place award.
