SOONER STATE, in hand while being outrun early, advanced along the inside when rallying and wore down FOUR FORKS in midstretch. JEANS LOVE forced the early pace while in hand, was forced to come out for the drive and, while finishing gamely, she was no match for the belated bid of the winner. FOUR FORKS had her speed, saved ground to the stretch where she drifted out while giving way to the winner. PART INDIAN had no apparent excuse in an even effort. CAPITAL ACE could not keep up. Thejatter made the pace while-in hand, saved some ground and succumbed readily to the winner. AVENEG had no apparent mishap in an even effort. ROMAN WINGS was through early.
