Seven Shifty Sprinters !n River Downs Feature Quizzed Appears Shade the Best; Meets Good and Bad; Miss Agoo By W. A. CRUSE RIVER DOWNS, Cincinnati, Ohio, June 25.— Seven shifty sprinters will meet in Wednesdays featured seventh race over six furlongs. Quizzed, owned by Mr. and Mrs. P. Maxwell and conditioned by Pete Maxwell, leading trainer here, having tightened the girth on nine winners to date, appears a shade the best in a tight fit and should be capable of annexing the major portion of the spoils. The promising apprentice, R. L. Barnett, who has been riding sensationally, will be aboard the Maxwell standardbearer. Good and Bad, from the barn of Froome Barbour, Buckeye State attorney, looms as the most serious threat to Quizzed and should be heavily wagered upon. The veteran Norman Hart will handle the saddle chores. Miss Agoo from the stable of A. Portney merits consideration and may show a good, advantage in Wednesdays main event. This campaigner has shown flashes during morning training periods and may be coming up to a winning effort. Dante Rizzo will guide Miss Agoo. Cab Happy, the property of M. Lause Jr., has failed to enter the charmed circle to date, but may prove enough to be a contender in tomorrows contest. No rider has been named in the overnight entries. Arrayed against the aforementioned quartet are Mrs. L. Constantinos Bold Imp, Mrs. Helen B. Davies Bills Admiral and Mrs. L. Wagners Star Blaze. The latter trio is training well and could upset should the leading contenders show any signs of faltering. The track is drying out rapidly and, with no showers in evidence, the racing strip may be termed good by post time for tomorrows nine-race card.
