Officials for Narragansett Summer Meeting Approved PAWTUCKET, R. I., June 25. — The Rhode Island Racing Commission this morning approved the following list of officials who will supervise the racing at the Narragansett Park summer meeting which opens Monday, July 1 and continues through 26 racing days till July 30. Stewards: R. Norman Charlton and Leo OTJonnell; Edward J. Fenelon Jr., representing the racing commission; assistant steward, Leo R. McAloon, in charge of to-talisator control; racing secretary, M. C. Shea; assistant racing secretary, Edward T. Dooley; placing judges, Melvin Mackin, Edward T. Dooley and Arthur Hunt; paddock judge, James Picarillo; patrol judges, Paul Asprinio, John Dwyer and Harry Kro-vitz; clerk of scales, William J. Canning; starter, George R. Wingfield; director of mutuels, William J. Jubb;. timer, Joseph Jaffe; horse identifier, Fred Grunwald, and veterinarian, E. L. Cole, V.M.D.
