Ebelhardt Remains in Serious Condition in Lexington Hospital LEXINGTON, Ky., June 25. — Hospital attendants said today Paul Ebelhardt, 51, manager of Calumet Farm since 1944, remained in "serious" condition at St. Josephs Hospital. Ebelhardt was injured last Saturday when lightning struck an electric golf cart on which he and two other men were riding at the Lexington Country Club. Ebelhardt showed "slight improvement" late yesterday, but still had not completely regained consciousness. A. B. McEwen, 49, University of Kentucky law professor who was operating the golf cart, was killed by the lightning bolt and Frank J. Quinn, the third passenger, was burned.
