TOP EM EASY outsprinled his opposition from the beginning, saved ground much of the way and was all out to turn back RADAR CLIPPER. The latter, never far back, loomed boldly from the outside through the early stretch but was not quite good enough. REBEL BANDITO lacked early speed, moved up strongly after going a half mile and could not sustain his bid. BAYCO maintained a striking position to the early stretch and hung. ANNIE BOB faltered when the real test came. MONEY MONEY was used up early. The latter had his speed, saved ground, turned back MISS TELEPHONE under pressure in the early stretch and just failed to last. MISS TELEPHONE raced with the top flight to the early stretch where she hung when put to a drive. SKIPPYS JOY was through early. OILED broke alertly but sharply to the inside drew into a clear lead when straightened away, saved ground while being rated and v/as all out to hold MORSE FLASH safe. OILED survived a stewards inquiry for alleged interference on leaving the starting gate. MORSE FLASH broke fast but to the outside, was quickly straightened out to follow within striking distance of the winner and, while unable to reach that one/ was clearly best of the others. MOWLEESHA had no apparent mishap in an even effort. JOHN B. was through early. WEE SOLERA was shuffled back at the start.
