Three Downs Entrants Named for Ohio Derby CLEVELAND, Ohio, May 3.— Three of the horses entered in todays historic Kentucky Derby have been nominated and are expected to start in the 7,500 Ohio Derby to be run on Saturday, June 21. The trio of colts scheduled to start this afternoon and pointing for the 24th renewal of Ohios oldest horse race are A Dragon Killer, Ben-edicto and Chance It Tony. The Ohio Derby is just a few years less ancient than its more famous Kentucky counterpart. It was inaugurated in 1876 at Chester Park in Cincinnati and has since been run over various tracks in the Buckeye State. It was renewed at Thistle Down in 1953 when Alfred Vanderbilts Find was the victor. Successive winners have been Timely Tip. Traffic Judge, Born .Mighty and Manteau. -Nominations for the Ohio classic close on June 14 and the winners share is expected to gross at least 0,000.
