BIG PATRICIA, bady outrun early, was sent to the outside on the final turn and, while forced to lose ground, rallied strongy and was up in the last yards. CHALLENIR bftke behind the field, saved ground on the final turn and, finishing with good energy, pressed the winner to the end. RUSSELL DANCER -was always well along the fnside on the final turn when she apparently was sent through tight quarters hitting STRONG LADY, threw that one and herself off stride, then recovered into the stretch and finished gamely. SIX TWO EVEN closed with a belated rush in the stretch run. SHADOW-BpUND gave a good effort. PINKY JO held sway until midstretch, then faltered. STRONG LADY was thrown off stride on the final turn when holding a forward position and failed to recover. PHOEBES BAB£ could not menace. CALOOSA flattened out badlyin the stretch run. WOODYS PET quickly set up a good lead, was kept under punishment while in command and faltered in the final eighth. TURKEYNECKOAKS faltered under pressure. THE GOON was no serious threat.
