CHALALOR moved up close to the leaders. on the inside rearing the far turn and charging between horses entering the final sixteenth, took a short lead but was doing her best to hold MARY ALICE B. The latter came strongly on the outside through the stretch and was pressing. HESAROCKET moved to the front on ANGELS DELIGHT around the stretch turn but lacked the strength to last. CAPTAIN FLASH was racing well at the end. ANGELS DELIGHT was used up setting the pace and tired. The latter was close to the pace, made a good bid in the stretch and raced well to the finish. FIRM RULER was. outrun until too late, then came strongly in the final furlong. JEEP FLYER was fairly well up all the way. ROSE ELLEN set the pace and tired. MR. NUISANCE was prominent to the stretch and also tired. BLACK POWDER took a short lead soon after the start and, racing as if clearly best, drew out in the stretch despite racing wide and was not in danger coming to the end. MISS EVA saved ground early while holding a forward position and held on well. GARRISON finished strongly next to the rail. CHAMP B. "had early speed but raced wide. MAD DUCHESS was not a threat. MISS ROWDY was slow to get in stride and was outrun to the last quarter, then moved strongly on the outside and, finishing fast in the middle of the track, caught ORNUM in the-final strides. ORNUM rushed into contention ,soon after the start and headed the field cn the stretch turn to hold on well. MYTOR was at a disadvantage in being on. the outside of ORNUM and SUPERSCRIPT around the last two turns, but raced gamely to the end. LOGO made up ground on the extreme outside in the stretch FRENCH NIGHTIE failed to offer a threat. SUPERSCRIPT tired badlv in the last furlong. PAN was rated close to GRAN FINO in the run down the backstretch, had no trouble catching the latter on the stretch turn and drew out to win as his rider pleased. GRAN FINO went to the front soon after the start to open up a good lead but was unable to resist the winner and was doing his best to hold ALI-O-K. The latter was outrun for a half-mile, then made up ground steadily. DONT SPANK went evenly. BAY BOY moved up close to MANGAM and on the outside of the latter on the far turn, and although forced a trifle wide on the stretch turn, edged to the front in the closing strides to win narrowly. MANGAM went to the front at once and took a clear lead on the backsctretch, then withstood urging gamely in the stretch and just failed to last. KLOMPEN came steadily through the stretch and app;ared strongest of all at the finish. WADING BUTCHER was used up attempting to head MANGAM. The others failed to figure seriously. HASH was rated within striking distance of the early leaders to the far turn, then moved up to catch BLUE EMBER after entering thestretch and put to the whip in the last thirty yards, held BREAK the ICE. The latter saved ground while moving up around the far turn and coming to the outside of the leader in the final furlong, was wearing him down. BLUE EMBER might have had something removed shaking off BY FAR in the first six furlongs but was easily best of the rest LEGATE . was not a threat. BY FAR tired badly. Mr. Hash claimed by T.
