1 DETROIT TURF NOTES 1 Eighteen two-year-olds were named for the ,000 added St Clair Stakes, which will have its second running as the feature of Saturdays program. Those named for the five-furlong dash are: Empty Bottle, Georgia Miss, Perfect One, Hi-Hun, Don Creole, Bushmaster, Beth Bon, Grand Girl, Lovely Girl, Beauflower, Sun Asia, Santa, Nedvive, Liz F Hasty Day, Plunge Home, Barbara A., and Bistourian. With the news of Max Murphys death at Texarkana came offers from all sides pj help for the bereaved widow. Judge Mur phy, who is looking after the collection, wired to J. B. Campbell, racing secretary at New York; Charles F. Price, presiding stew-, ard at Latonia, and M. Nathanson, preside ing steward at Rockingham, all of them personal friends of the deceased off icial, ask- i ing them to see what could be done in thp way of raising a fund.
