1 LEXINGTON TURF NOTES 1 4 - - Judge John Ireland spent Sunday and Monday at Paris and Lexington and will go on to Bainbridge Park; .Judge Ireland re-, ports that he has sold five yearlings to Joseph Cattarinich, leaving, him only one which is in partnership with Idle Hour Farm and to be sold at Saratoga. Hugh Fontaine, after a telephone talk with trainer Clyde Phillips at Belmont Park Tuesday, announced that W. R. Cbes good horse Ladysman will be returned to Shoshone Stud here to rest for the remainder of the year. He displayed slight lameness in an ankle after his last race, and it was decided that it would be best to rest him, however much it was desired that he might "repeat his performance of last year in the Suburban Handicap. John C. Gillem returned to Lexington Tuesday from Chicago, bringing 0,000 which he received for Transmutable, sold to the Old Gold Stable. Gillem is on a deal with Mrs. T. J. Regan for the two-year-old unbroken sister to Transmutable. Six horses in the Gillem string were transferred from Aurora to Bainbridge Park in charge of trainer Roy Gillem. 4
