BLACKBIRDERS FAST WORK LATONIA, Ky., May 27. Mrs. Charles Hainesworths Latonia Derby eligible, Black-birder, went through an impressive workout this morning in preparation for the 5,000 fixture Saturday. Blackbirder ran the full Derby route, a mile and a quarter, in 2:04, handily. He went the first quarter in :24, half in :48, three-quarters in 1:14, the mile in 1:39 and the mile and an eighth in 1:52. Weston, which Jougtt Shouse" named for! the Derby, was given an easy five-eighths! in 1:04. - J
