1 BELMONT PARK NOTES s S J. E.. Healy returned from Rockingham Park, where he inspected the division of the Mrs. J. H. Whitney stable in charge of W. J. Norton at that point. Harry F. Sinclair was a clubhouse visitor Monday afternoon. Marshall Cassidy, racing commission steward; George Cassidy, starter, and C. M. Waite, inventor of the Waite starting gate, saw more than 100 horses break from the Waite gate Monday from the head of the Widener course. After a thorough checking up of the gate, it was announced that a few minor changes would be made before giving a public trial in races. They were thoroughly pleased with the showing, but believe that a few changes will perfect the gate. F. A. Carreaud, who purchased War Glory from the Glen Riddle Farm last week, further strengthened his stable when he acquired Ajaccio, the good sprinter, from the Sanford Stud at private terms. Ajaccio is a five-year-old son of Blue Pete and Lady Baltimore. Ben Holmes, handicapper at Narragansett Park, and Harry Springer, of the official family of that organization, were arrivals Monday to interest horsemen in that meek ing. Trainer Alex Gordon stated that the next engagement of Coldstream would be in the Juvenile Stakes Decoration Day. Tom, Young arrived from Latonia to interest eastern horsemen in the renewal of the 5,000 added Latonia Derby, which will be run there next Saturday. Jockey Silvio Coucci is slated .to go to Latonia to ride Gillie in the Latonia Derby. Identify, which will be a running mate to Discovery in the Suburban, and Dogmata were returned to Belmont Park from Rockingham Park by A. G. Vanderbilt. 1 .
