PLAT EYE AT ROCKINGHAM Greentree Stable Star, Top Weight, to Start in 0,000 Added Decoration Day Handicap. SALEM, N. H., May 27. Plat Eye, Greentree Stables three-year-old, arrived late today to take part in the Decoration Day Handicap, 0,000 added feature to be run here Thursday. Winner of the Chesapeake Stakes on April 20, second in the Wood Memorial Stakes "a week later, third to Rosemont and Omaha in the Withers last Saturday, Plat Eye was the center of all eyes as he reached the track in perfect condition. Ariel Cross, Pompeys Pillar, Whizzaway, Morpluck and Guiding Star, are other smart performers already on the grounds, sharpening their speed for the mile arid a sixteenth test of the holiday: Guiding Star recently finished second in the 0,000 Acorn Stakes at Pimlico. The Decoration " Day Handicap will be the feature event of the most pretentious week of the racing season".
