1 BLUE BONNETS TURF NOTES S . . g Joseph Cattarinich, owner of the Montreal Jockey Club, arrived at Montreal from Aurora and plans to remain a few days before going to Bainbridge Park at Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Compeau of Montreal has" severed his connections with the stable of J. P. Macey. The former partners raced last season under the nom de course of the C. M. Stable. Frank Rietman, part owner of Kings Park, in Montreal, and Rockingham Park, was a visitor at Blue Bonnets Saturday afternoon. Rietman is here to interest horsemen in the coming meeting at Kings Park. The sixth race on the program for Monday was reopened and the following horses added: Gab, 103 pounds; Mint Jake, 114, and Ad Astra, with 103 pounds. Short Wave, a carded starter in this events went lame while being breezed Sunday morning and was forced to scratch. Two carloads of seventeen horses, tho property of William Dwyer of New York, arrived at Blue Bonnets and will be disposed of to local horsemen. The shipment is made up of almost all two-year-olds from ;the Dwyer farm at Lakewood, N. J. Marty Schenker, general manager of the Mount Royal course of the. Back River Jockey Club, arrived from New York and will supervise the sale of the Dwyer horses. Nominations for the Quebec Derby to be run Saturday, June 8, close Saturday, June 1. This event is over the distance of one mile and a furlong.
