SUN PORTLAND AT DETROIT DETROIT, Mich., May 27. Mrs. Silas B. Masons Sun Portland, which demonstrated when he defeated Roman Soldier for the Illinois Derby that he has a chance of becoming one of the .leading three-year-olds of the year, arrived here from Aurora Sunday. He came in charge of Walter Taylor, a brother to the trainer of the Mason horses, who saddled Mike Hall for a majority of his important victories. Head Play, a stable-mate of the Sun Briar colt, will be shipped here after filling his engagement in the Suburban Handicap. Head Play will be named for the Detroit Challenge Cup. Sun Portland is the first of the invaders for the 5,000 added Detroit Derby, which will be decided here Saturday, June 15,
