NOIR LIGHT was outrun in the early part but was going fairly well at the finish. EQUALITY and MAN OF IRON tired. WAR CHAFF attempted to pull herself up and was bucking soon after the start. CAREFUL KITTY was a forward contender most of the way. ACTDINE was outrun early but closed some ground although in close quarters. THE MILLAY was in close quarters on the far turn.. The latter, coming to life after a recent weak effort, was a strong contender from the start and barely missed. CARPAN displayed good early speed but tired slightly near the end. CARSONO was in close quarters approaching the first turn, raced wide in the stretch and never threatened the leaders. SWEEP HASTILY was in close quarters approaching the stretch turn.
