1 WASHINGTON PARK NOTES Jockey Darrell McCown is recovering in the St. James Hospital, Chicago Heights, from a tonsillectomy he underwent Tues-way. He hopes to be back in the saddle again within ten days. J. P. Ebelhardt has taken over the training of Chrysostle and Chatter Wrack, owned by the Chappel Brothers and formerly trained by J. P. Keezek. Jockey Henry Hauer, set down at Aurora in the meeting there, will return to the saddle at Washington Park Thursday. H. R. Butts this morning vanned Indiana Maid from Aurora to Lincoln Fields. The horse raced under the silks of Mrs. Butts. F. R. Meisinger has placed back in training the horses Chantesuta, Sally Irene and the two-year-old Bagor. They have been turned out on a farm at Naperville, 111. Bert B. Williams, accompanied by jockey Jack Westrope, left here for Latonia, where he wil saddle Mrs. Wm. H. Fursts Over the Top in the Latonia Derby Saturday. Mr. Furst, who is in New York, will join Williams at Latonia, while Mrs. Furst may go down from Chicago to join her husband.
