1 LONG BRANCH TURF N0TES The horses R. H. New and H. S. Wilson of OakviPe, Ont., will be taken over by trainer George Lucas after the departure of G. Mc-Cann for Montreal. The stable of trainer W. Drinkwater, including Playful Boston, Sackville, Hidden City, Becautious, Castie and Westys Butler, will be shipped to Montreal after the Duf-ferin Park meeting. Trainer Drinkwater has two promising riders with his stable in L. Nash and apprentice H. Martelle. Both are natives of Windsor, Ont., and will be seen in action in the near future. President George Hardy of the Thoroughbred Breeders Association, announced that a meeting of the association will be held in the King Edward Hotel, Tuesday evening, June 15, at 8:30 p. m., when important matters will be discussed. Jockey J. Convey has joined the stable in charge of trainer W. D. Reddy and will go to Blue Bonnets to do the riding through the field. Steeplechase jockeys J. Blackburn, J. Mac-iver and F. McKenna have left for Montreal, where they will assist in the preparation of horses which will race through the field at j that point.
