F. GILPIN TAKES CHARGE j OF DENEMARK HORSES HOMEWOOD, 111., June 14. Frank Gilpin, who has trained several large stables, among them that of E. F. Seagram, has been signed to a years contract to condition the large establishment of Mrs. Emil Denemark. He arrived yesterday from Detroit and took over his new duties immediately. Gilpin succeeds J. Johnson, who had been acting as trainer of the Denemark "horses since early in the spring. Gilpin will return to Detroit tomorrow and will take with him the horses Corinto, War Emblem, War Minster, Linas Son and Radio Charm. Upon his arrival in the Motor City, he plans to relinquish charge of a number of horses he has been training there for other owners. While the division of the Denemark stable is at Detroit, Gilpin will commute between the Motor City and Washington Park, personally looking after both divisions. It also was announced that the Denemark stable had secured the services of Sid Hebert, to do the light riding ; for the establishment Hebert came here from Omaha yesterday. He is an experienced rider -and can do as light .as 94 pounds. ..J
