PREVENTION DESTROYED SPRINGFIELD, Mass., June 14. C. B. Sturms gelding Prevention, a starter in the fifth race at Agawam Park on Friday, was humanely destroyed when the racer broke his leg in the first furlong of the six furlongs event.
