DETROIT, Mich., June 14 Twenty-six of the leading handicap performers of the country were made eligible .for the Frontier Handicap, for its first running at the Fair Grounds course of the Detroit Racing Association. Twenty-three handicap stars were named for the ,000 added Wolverine Handicap, the feature for next Saturday, as a preparation for the Frontier, which will top a brilliant week of local racing. On Wednesday, June 23, the Moslem Temple Stakes will be another of the stellar attractions offered for the Shriners, who will be holding their annual convention in the Motor City. Heading the brilliant list of eligibles for the Frontier is Warren Wrights Count Morse, Mrs. Emil Denemarks Finance, Walter- E. OHaras Mucho Gusto, New Deal and . Jackie D.; Waggoner Brothers Heelfly, Hal Price Headleys Whopper, Emerson F. Woodwards Sir Emerson, and Mel Emerichs Infantry. BROOKMEADE STABLE HOPE. Corundum is the hope of Mrs. Isabelle Dodge Sloanes Brookmeade Stable, and Fred M. Alger, Jr., hopes to bring Azucars return to flat racing to a brilliant climax with a victory in this renowned classic, which was first run at the old Devonshire track in 1902, Others eligible are Paradisical, Carl S., Cardarrone, Grey Gold, Stocks, First Entry, Siam,- Winner of the Pontchartrain Stakes; Polar Flight, which annexed the Inaugural Handicap; War Emblem, Cristate, War Minstrel, Gyral, Corinto and Sir Jim James.
