LATONIA TURF NOTES f. s 4 Apprentice A. Schlenker, who graduated from the maiden ranks during the recent meeting at Beulah Park, is an addition to the Latonia riding colony. The youngsters book will be handled by Bob Noel. William Day, breeder and owner of Madi-sonville, Ky., arrived from Coiumbus with the good sprinter, Ding Bin, and a couple of two-year-olds which he will campaign here during the remainder of the meeting. Tom B. Young announced that he has taken first call on the services of jockey Willie Hanka for the remainder of the Latonia meeting, which assures Hanka the mount on Mrs. G. B. Coxs Congressman in the forthcoming juvenile stakes to be decided. Jockey M. L. Fallon will resume riding Tuesday, the twenty-day suspension which was meted out to him at Churchill Downs for rough riding having expired Monday Dandy Broic will make Fallons engagements. The horses of W. J. Sprow and Mrs. K. Ramsey got away for Washington Park Monday, where they will be raced for the remainder of the Homewood meeting. Those in.luded in the shipment are Indian Head, Live One, Saracen, Palamede, Barbara S., Panalong and Glassy Eye. A heavy rain during Sunday night put the racing strip in a sloppy condition for the training period Monday morning and training activities were somewhat redueed as and result.
