; j 1 1 ; L i WHOPPER TOP WEIGHT Headley Star Assigned 130 Pounds for Arlington Inaugural Handicap. Count Morse and Finance With 126 and 124 Pounds Respectively Next in List of Eligibles to Fixture. ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., June 24. Hal Price Headleys Whopper, a recent stake winner at Detroit, has been assigned top weight of 130 pounds by handicapper Charles J. McLennan for the ,000 added Inaugural Handicap, the seven furlongs feature of the opening day program at Arlington Park next Monday. McLennan announced his weights today for the feature, -which has attracted fifty-three nominations. The Inaugural will launch the thirty-day meeting at Arlington Park and the first of a series of eight stakes which will feature the July session. These stakes will carry a total of 02,000 in added money, forming a major item in the 76,600 to be distributed among horsemen. This year the value of the Inaugural has been increased from ,500 to ,000 and it is expected that a field of about fif-, teen will start, according to McLennan. Next to Whopper in McLennans regard is Warren Wrights Count Morse, which he assigned 126 pounds. Mrs. Emil Denemarks star, Finance, is third on the list under 124 and the Everglades Stables Deliberator, which is expected from New York, is next under 120. FORMIDABLE ARRAY. Following among the higher weights are Warren Wrights Crossbow II., Hal Price Headleys Fraidy Cat and the Araho Stables Mucho Gusto, all at 118; Hal Price Headleys Preeminent, 117, and the Milky Way Farms Case Ace, hero of the Illinois Derby, at 116.
